Volvo High School students visited our Skövde plant
Hundreds of Volvo High School students started their professional journey with us at Aurobay throughout years. This week, it was the turn of the 2022 cohort.
Around 48 current students of Volvo High School spent two days at our Skövde factory finding out about what it would be like to work at Aurobay after they graduate. The students had a guided tour, led by former High School graduates Filip Karlsson, Filip Friberg, Henrik Fredén, and Maria Karlsson, who offered first-hand insights about their own development journeys.
The students also received an introductory presentation about Aurobay by Bjarne Hammar, Plant Manager of Aurobay’s Skövde plant. Bjarne commented, 'Some of our most successful employees started their careers at the Volvo High School. We are confident that the students visiting us today will include some of Aurobay's stars of the future.'
After successfully finishing their studies, half of them have the chance to start working at Aurobay, and the other half – at Volvo Group’s Trucks Operations Plant in Skövde.
